How do I get to the studio?
With exception to arranged group packages, audience members are responsible for their own transportation to and from our studio. The Jerry Springer Show does not reimburse for travel expenses or lost wages. For driving directions to the studio, click here. For train and bus schedules, please check out the MTA at WWW.MTA.INFO.
Where do I park when I come see the show?
Parking is located at the Rich Forum Theater on Tresser Blvd. Cash and Credit Cards are accepted for parking fees. We suggest paying for the entire day, which will cost $5. The Jerry Springer Show does not reimburse for travel expenses or lost wages.
What are acceptable forms of identification?
Acceptable forms of Identification: a state issued drivers license, state ID, military ID, or passport. Facebook and other social networking sites may not be used as a valid form of ID. Faxing in a picture of your ID is also not permitted.
How long will I be at the show?
You are required to stay for the entire taping of the show. Expect to be here for a total of three hours. Audience members who attend must agree to stay for the entire duration of the taping or entry will be denied.
What is not allowed at the show?
Video cameras, large bags, backpacks, sharp metal objects, firearms, wallet chains, mace or any other bottles that contain fluids. No recording devices of any kind will be allowed; pictures may ONLY be taken after the show.
What should I wear to the taping?
Dress your best; you're going to be on TV! We expect everyone to dress appropriately in business causal attire. Solid, jewel toned colors (blues, reds, greens, etc.) look best on camera.
What am I not allowed to wear to a taping?
Dress Code is strictly enforced. Do NOT wear t-shirts, jerseys, sweatshirts, sweatpants, sports attire, tank tops, all white outfits, costumes, hats, or any other clothing that would be inappropriate for our studio audience. ANYTHING WITH A LOGO, DECAL, BRAND NAME is not allowed and you may be asked to turn your shirt inside out. We have the right to deny anyone who does not follow these guidelines.
If I am disabled, is there anything I need to know?
If you or anyone in your party is disabled, please be sure to let us know when we offer you tickets so that we can make reasonable accommodations.
Will I be going through a metal detector?
Yes. You will be screened by security and will go through a metal detector. Please notify our staff of any medical conditions.
Will there be food or drinks available?
There is a soda machine and vending machine located in the audience holding room, as well as water fountains. We are not responsible for lost money due to these machines. We also cannot make change for these machines.
What if I cannot attend? Can I give the tickets to a friend or family member?
Yes, tickets are TRANSFERABLE. Please make sure the new ticket holder gives the original ticket holder's name in order to claim the tickets.
Please remember that everyone who sees the show MUST be 18 years or older and have a Valid ID. We have the right to deny anyone admission.
